In a Galaxy Far, Far Away...

So we are almost a month away from the show and we still haven't blocked the second act of The Sound of Music... That's cool, though. We can get it done, it won't be a big deal. But the girl who plays Maria and I, as of the other day, had yet to even learn our first song together, let alone attempt to sing it... So what did we do? We winged it... The best plan on the planet, right? Right... It's the plan that has no rules... But I digress. We winged it, and it was FANTASTIC. That's right folks, FANTASTIC. We are just awesome like that. ~nods~

On a slightly different note... For Christmas I received a book called What We Do Working in the Theatre" by Bo Metzler, an award winning book about all the different jobs in the theatre in a non-theatre person vocabulary. It's truly brililiant so far, and I hope to have it finished soon.

Hey, it's not been seven months since my last post! Amazing right? Not that anyone's reading this blog currently anyway, but hey, I said from the beginning this was more of a way to keep memories for myself if I ever get senile.
